DeleteRaúl González Blanco commonly known as Raúl is a Spanish footballer who plays for the Qatar Stars League club Al Sadd as a striker. Raúl was born in the San Cristóbal de los Ángeles neighborhood of Madrid where he played for the local youth team before moving to the Atlético Madrid youth team. He later moved to Real Madrid's youth academy and played at its various levels.

Katy Perry
ReplyDeleteI will write about Katy Perry, because this week I got impressed due to the quantity of people that follow her on twitter. I was comparing the number of followers with other famous people and likely she is who has the most.
Probably many people know her just like Katy Perry, but her complete name is Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson. She was born in Sta. Barbara, California and actually she is 29 years old.
Katy’s parents were evangelical ministers, so she grew up listening to Gospel music and singing at the local church choir. Then she became in a talented singer, songwriter and guitarist.
The songs that had made her famous were: her hits on internet Ur so gay (2007), and then she was at the first place in music lists with I kissed a Girl, which with she won her only Grammy Award in 2009. Since this year she was already very popular in almost all countries around the world.
Her last albums were: California Girl, Firework, Last Friday Night, Part of Me, The One that Got Away, Wide Awake and Roar.
Finally I will say that currently she isn’t the best singer, she isn’t the most talented but she had known how to be loved by millions of people with her original lyrics, sexy movements, and specially her charismatic personality.

ReplyDeleteLast year I made a short trip to the united states for my fiveteen, I traveled to Disney and then to Miami so I'll tell you my expirience of that travel.
July of 2012 I went to the USA to visit Disney it was awesome, there were so many things to do and no much time. We spent the days in differents parks like Universal Studios, Island of Adventure, Sea World, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and another places. The parks that most liked me was Island of Adventure, that's not a park from Disney land but I visited it anyways, I loved that park because there was the Harry Potter castle, Hogwarts, and the rollercoaster of Hulk. The second one was Sea World specially the rollercoaster Manta, that was the best rollercoaster for me and it was the first one I went up to, so I was very excited and nervous.
After a week on Disney we went to Miami there we just relax, enjoy buying at differents malls and swimming at the beach.
In fact I enjoyed much that trip and I'll love to go to the USA again maybe in a nearby future I'll travel there again but this time with my family we are thinking about going to New York or to Miami again.

ReplyDeleteThere are so many reasons that I choose Jennifer Lawrence, first of all, at the early age of 20 she was nominated for the Academy Award for best actress. I think she is one of the best actresses the world has know; she knows how to make people laugh without even trying, she has a great sense of humor and she’s not letting the fame get to her head, she’s not at all embarrassed when she makes a mistake or says something out of line during interviews, I love that.
Her full name is Jennifer Shrader Lawrence , she was born on August 15th off 1990 in Kentucky, USA. In her childhood she used to act in plays for her school but at the age of 14 she decided to pursuit in an acting career.
In March 2011, Lawrence was offered the part of Katniss Everdeen in the film The Hunger Games, based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins. The film was released on March 23, 2012, and set a record for the third-largest opening weekend, making a record-breaking $152.5 million in three days for a non-sequel film.
Finally I will said that Jennifer Lawrence is a such an ideal role model for people everywhere in the world because she’s not only amazingly flawless, she’s also beauty on inside, she shows everyone that you don’t need to conform to what society wants to see just be your own person,believe in yourself and follow your dreams.

I'll talking about Paul Walker, an american actor that was famous for his role as Brian O'conner in The fast and the furious film.

In 2001 he became famous with his first perfomance in The fast and the furious where he worked with Vin Diesel, in 2003,2009,2011 and 2013 he continued with his role in the same film. During those years he was also involved in others films as "In to the blue" with Jessica Alba (2005), The Lazarus project (2008), and others.
Finally, Paul Walker has a tragic and ironic death on November 30, 2013; in Santa Clarita, California. He died in the Porsche Carrera GT with his friend when they crashed against a tree, when they to a charity event. His dreamed car was the Porsche Carrera GT and ironically was the same car in which he passed away.

ReplyDeleteI was born in the United States, but when i was 5 years old my dad got a job in Asuncion,Paraguay, so we moved.
The first years I was sad and upset, but then it started to become better and better, now i have a lot of new friends and a beca for Polonia !
Im very happy with my life now and I hope that when i grow up i can go back to the United States !

ReplyDeleteParaguay have so much tourist place and the people don't now their country have many places to visit they prefer go to Brazil or Argentina for spend the vacations.
One of this place is Itaipu it's a hydroelectric the biggest of the world, it have zoo, museam and things very interesting. Other is Encarnacion it's in the south coast of the Parana river, now the people said Encarnacion is like a beach and every year most of people go there. If you like history you can go to the Ruinas Jesuiticas for know about the Jesuitas who were in Paraguay thounsands of year ago.
These are only a few tourist place that Paraguay have. I think the goverment must have promote more these places for increase the economy in the country. Paraguayans sometimes spend more many making a tour in Paraguay than go to vacation in other countries.

DeleteIn this essay I will talk about one of the member of One Direction because I think he has a beautiful voice and he's so handsome with his blond hair and blue eyes. His name is Niall James Horan Gallaried; he was born on September 13, 1993 in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland.

He and his older brother, Greg, moved back and forth between their parents’ to households before setting in with their father. He when to Colaiste Mhuire, Mullingar. During his school years, he showed talent for singing and performing.
In 2010, when he was 16 years old, Horan auditioned for the television talent competition The X Factor. He moved up through several rounds of preliminary auditions culminating in a performance for the programs judges, including Simon Crowel and guest judge Katy Perry, in Dublin. He sang a version of Ne-Yo's "So Sick" and was accepted into the official competition. Although he was eliminated as a solo contestant after the semifinals, the judge combined Horan and Harry Style, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson to form the boy band called One Direction.
Although Horan was eliminated of The X Factor he formed a band which now, they all together, are travelling around the world making concerts for their fans. With his sympathy, his blond hair and blue eyes, his attractive body, his irresistible smile and his beautiful voice, Niall Horan, conquered a lot of fans. I know he didn't win an audition but he won something bigger: HE WON THE WORLD.

DeleteWhen the people say trip I automatically think of the hotel, the activities that you can do in that place, the food obviusly but I think the most important thing is that you disconnect to your world and that's amazing because everybody needs that sometimes.
ReplyDeleteThis year in july I went to the Unitated States, the typical trip to Disneyland. It was a really good experience I really enjoy it so much because was my first time in the country. The first eleven days we went to differents parks, and the last three days we went to Bahamas. In Orlando, I interacted with people when I wanted to buy something and it was really funny because sometimes the people who were attending were mexicans or cubans and they answered me in spanish but I still talk to them in english and they laughed and i laughed too. I was the only who talk or intent to talk in english in my group of friends and they depended of me to talk with the cashier or people. In the Magic Kingdom I argue with policeman because he don’t wanted pass me out to see the fireworks. I was in the bathroom and another friend went to the bathroom too and when we came back we realized that they was closed the area in front the castle and they said that are a lot of people were there and there is not space and I got so nervous that I started to talk to all the police and one man, I think was a tourist came to me and said “What happend? I can help you” and I tell to him that I need to cross because all my group was there. Then, he talk to the police and we finally cross. All the days we were there we ate junk food, I was sick in the first day. Every day was hamburguer, pizza, nuggets, and of course coca cola, I was tired to all this food and I started to eat cesar salad and something like that and now i regret. In Bahamas was so different because it was a place to relaxing and you can feel the peace, the water was so awesome and the hotel was the best, i will never forget Bahamas because all was perfect but the food still was the same
Finally, I had the best trip in my life because everything was magic, perfect, and maybe one day I will go to live there. ¡The best fifteen days of my life!

I'll write about a talented and very famous man. He's an american actor but also film director and producer. His most famous movies are Training day, Man on fire, Dejavu, and many others. Of course, I'm talking about Denzel Washington.
ReplyDeleteDenzel Hayes Washington was born on December 28, 1954 in Mount Vernon, near New York. At the age of 28 he married Pauletta Pearson, whom he met on the set of his first screen work. They have four kids: John David, Katia and twins Olivia and Malcolm. He's a very good father and husband, everybody can tell how much he loves his family. He's considered as a devout christian and he says he would like to be a preacher sometime. Washington has received two Golden Globe awards, a Tony Award, and two Academy Awards: Best Supporting Actor for Glory (1989) and Best Actor for Training Day (2001). His filmography is very extended: he has been working as an actor since 1974.
He's known as one of the best actors of Hollywood, and the movies where he was are almost always the best. I really admire him because of his humility and devotion for his family and God. To make it shorter, I'll just say that I would love if more people could be like him.

ReplyDeleteMy sister had been to USA twice already and she told me that is a huge country and very developed because they have a lot of economic resources, as she said is very cleaned, good for people that really wants to work and also is an excellent place to spend your vacations because it has a lot of amusement parks and other interesting places.
The people there wait for you to cross the street, and are very nice if they have time to be, if they're not, they'll be a little impolite and unkind but they're still very good people, everybody thinks they’re all fat but are not.
And finally if you go to USA you have to see a lot of famous places that are recognized worldwide, especially lot of monuments like Statue of Liberty or Mount Rushmore. You won't be disappointed if you visit one of the most beautiful and crowded country on the world.

DeleteOnce upon a time... About a month ago, I decided to write this essay as soon as possible so I wouldn't have to worry about it later. And now, here we are, today's the deadline and I haven't written it down yet. But why is that? Well, I just had so many things I wanted to write about on this first essay and I couldn't decide. And I didn't want to do the same subject as someone else, too. Plus, I didn't feel inspired to do it, honestly. But I made up my mind now and I'll write about the person who inspired me to write. My favorite author.
ReplyDeleteJohn Michael Green. He was born in August 24th, 1977 in Indianapolis. He attended Indian Springs School, which actually is where one of my favorite books written by him is used as the main setting (Looking for Alaska), a boarding and day school outside of Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from Kenyon College in 2000 with a double major in Literature and Religious Studies. He was bullied during most of his time studying and it made his life miserable.
He wanted to become priest, but his experiences of working in a hospital with children suffering from life-threatening illnesses inspired him to become an author, and later to write another of my favorite books, The Fault in Our Stars (soon to become a major movie). He won many awards as an author and he co-owns a youtube account with his brother, Hank, (known as @vlogbrothers) in which he usually uploads videos about his opinions mostly. He's currently married with Sarah Green and they have two children together, Henry and Alice Green.
He's a very busy man and I still have no idea how he can put up with everything going on in his life, with his book turning into a movie and his newborn baby, Alice. He has also stated he's currently writing another book. I can't wait to read it. And I hope you too, after reading his works.

DeleteI’ll write about a trip that I went last year, it was the best trip I had and I still remember when my mom took me to the airport that day with the anxious and nervous. I’ll tell you about my experiences and what I liked most of each place
ReplyDeleteLast year in July I went to United States for my fifteen, the famous trip to Disneyland but before that I went to the Bahamas, a tropical paradise, and l loved so much that place. I really enjoy it because I met new people, I visited new places and I had fun with my friends.
The first day in Bahamas we relaxed enough. We enjoyed the beach, sunbathe, we were gone to aquatic plays and always at the end of the day we had our own private party. We stayed three days in the Bahamas and then we went to Orlando for twelve days. When we got to Orlando we went to rest in our hotel and the next day we started going to the parks. We visited the park Epcot, the attractions are stunning and have abundant adrenaline, all focused on technological advances and modern wonders. The Magic Kingdom where the games are enjoyed in the splash mountain, the mine train, the haunted mansion, Space Mountain and also the incredible Cinderella Castle. Hollywood Studios, what I most liked about this park is the roller coaster Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. And then there are parks Animal Kingdom, where there is a tree that is hand carved with images of more than 300 animals, Blizzard Beach the most visited aquatic park in the world, in Sea World are the most amazing roller coasters are the Atlantis Kraken and Manta, Universal Studios is another park with amazing attractions, what I liked most was the roller coaster Hollywood Rip Ride Rock it, Island of adventure is known as one of the best parks in Orlando, I loved the Hulk rollercoaster, the lifts pendants of Jurassic Park and the amazing wizarding world of harry potter and finally the park Busch Gardens where is the most famous and feared Sheikra roller coaster with over 200 feet high and 90 degrees fall .
In conclusion, It was the best trip in my life, I relaxed in a tropical paradise and I had fun with my friends in all of these amazing parks. I hope to repeat this incredible trip

I know it’s kind of late but I just couldn’t choose a topic for this essay so, as Metallica is coming to Paraguay on march of next year, I’ve decided to write about Lars Ulrich, the drummer of Metallica, and also one of my favorite drummers.
ReplyDeleteLars Ulrich was born on december 26 of 1963 in Gentofte, Denmark. When he was younger, he played tennis because his dad was a pro tennis player. He moved to the USA at the age of 16 and started to play drums. Months later he posted an ad in a newspaper looking for musicians to start a band, and he got a reply from James Hetfield (who became the lead singer of the band) and that’s how one of the most important bands of history, Metallica, was formed. Now the band has four members: Lars Ulrich, James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo.
To end with this essay, I gotta say that I’m extremely excited for their concert, I just can’t believe that they’re coming to our country, I’ve waited almost my whole life for it and now that it’s finally gonna happen it still feels very utopic. That’s it.

ReplyDeleteSo I'll talk about a famous person, Noah Webster. Noah Webster Jr. was born in October 16, 1758 West Hartford, Connecticut, USA. He was mostly known as "The Father of American Scholarship and Education". His father was Noah Sr. and his mother Mercy Steele. His father was primarily a farmer so he mostly worked in the land.
He never attented college but his father was really curious and he prized the education, his mother spent long hours teaching Noah and his siblings spelling, mathematics and music. At the age of fourteen, he began receiving tutoring in Latin and Greek from his church pastor to prepare for the entrance to Yale College. Luckily, he entered and he had 4 years at Yale. But since he entered the Yale College, his father had to mortgage the farm for sending him to Yale, but he was on his own now and had no more to do with his family.
He was also known because of his dictionaries. In 1806 he plushied his first dictionary, "A compendious Dictionary of the English Language. It took 28 years to complete. To evaluate the etymology of hords, he learned 26 lanaguages. The dictionary contained over 700 words, of which twelve thousand had never appeared in a published dictionary before. But in the end, his dictionary had lots of sells and was really famous.
Noah Webster died at the age of 86 in May 28, 1843
In conclusion, Noah Webster was known for his input in the Enligsh Education with his dictionaries. He made, checked and published over 3 dictionaries, but 1 of them was incompleted due to his death. He also was against slavery. I chose this person because his life was really interesting, he spent all the free time for studying and wanted to help to eradicate illiteracy.

ReplyDeleteSo I'll write about one of my favorites singers, Damon Albarn. He is the singer of the band Blur but I'll focus more on his career as the man who gives life to 2D, singer of my favorite band, Gorillaz
Damon Albarn was born on 23 March 1968 in Whitechapel in East London, son of Keith and Hazel Albarn grew up with a sister two years older, Jessica. After move to Colchester, Essex, he studied piano, guitar and violin. Albarn studied acting in London at Drama College East 15 Debden, but retired after his first year. Albarn formed the rock band and virtual cartoon Gorillaz with Tank Girl creator Jamie Hewlett in 1999. His music has had collaborations with various artists. The albums Gorillaz and Demon Days have worked well in both the U.S. and UK, so have their respective singles "Clint Eastwood," "Feel Good Inc.", "19-2000", "DARE", "Dirty Harry" and "Kids With Guns / El Mañana".
Finally, now Gorillaz is taking a break and their fans are waiting for a new album that they probably will realease next year. I'm exited for this news because the last album was realeased at 2011, The Singles Collection 2001-2011.

ReplyDeleteI’m the kind of person that, when watching a movie, doesn’t just look for action or drama, but comedy. Thing that, sometimes is really hard to get because the actors related don’t hold that spark that is needed. So that’s why, whenever I’m willing to watch a good movie to keep on, I just turn to Mr. Downey Jr.
Robert John Downey, Jr is an American actor, born in Manhattan, New York City, New York, on April 4, 1965.He's the younger of two children. His father, Robert Downey, Sr., is an actor, writer, producer, cinematographer, and director of underground films; his mother, Elsie, is also an actress.
He made his screen debut at the age of five, on one of his father’s films. Although, he began building upon theater roles starring in Broadway musicals before getting on big roles as, for example, Charlie Chaplin on the 1992 movie, Chaplin, a role for which he prepared extensively, learning how to play the violin and tennis left-handed. He even had a personal coach in order to imitate Chaplin's posture and way of carrying himself, as he has always been very dedicate when concerning on his characters. But even having a great start, he turned into a lot of problems because of drugs, turning down his career for some time. This might be because, as a child, he was "surrounded by drugs". His father, a drug addict, allowed him to use marijuana at the age of six.
From 1996 through 2001, he was arrested several times on drug-related charges including cocaine, heroin and marijuana and went several times through drug treatment programs unsuccessfully but however, after five years of substance abuse, arrests, rehab, and relapse, Robert Downey Jr. was finally ready to work toward a full recovery from drugs and a return to his career.
From the time of 2001 to 2007, he played on minor roles (e.g. on the Disney movie The Shaggy Dog), but it was on 2008 when he really settle down as a big star, playing the role of the magnate Tony Stark on Iron Man. So is, since that time, that he hasn’t stopped growing as one of the greatest actors of this time, getting on such productions as Tropic Thunder, Sherlock Holmes, The Avengers and many others.
So now, more than just like his performances, I admire him as a person, because even if he got on drugs or got arrested, he got up, recovered (considering he now gets $75millions per movie) and kept his goals high, being one of the most appealed actors nowadays, giving his movies that action, drama, and comedy touch. He proves everyone that no matters how deep you fall, the only one that can hold you down is yourself.

ReplyDeleteAfter that, I was thinking what kind of jobs I like... The answer was: none, what I realy want to do is being on a epic adventure, walking hills, climbing mountains, crossing the seas, flying in the sky, exploring dark caves, having fun.
I though my Dad was going to kill me if I told him that, but His answer was: do whatever you whant, the worst thing in the world is being working in something you dont like, go arround the world now, because that was my dream too.
I was thinking why he didnt traveled arround the world, so I asked him, He told me this: Do you think I can? Do I have time? I have children and Wife, if i could, I would have left this place forever, you must do it, do it now, I wish I was more like you.
-Why more like me?, what do I do?
-Because you are young, you have time, you are in a good shape, enjoy!!!

The worst thing in the world is being working in something you dont like, and if my father's dream was the same as mine, why did he became a doctor? He whanted me to dont be like him, because he is a doctor, and He is working hard for me.
So I start thinking about it... And I though I wouldnt make it, and last saturday I was reading my english book and I found a phrase: a journey of one thousand miles begins with a single step.
And that's how traveling arround the world became my dream.

Anyway, pay attention to Tenses whenever you write: didn't travel, is working on, did he become, he wanted me not to be like him, thought, etc.
